Editor of multiple books for ISA, the International Society of Automation. Subjects included industrial data bus theory and development, the adaptation of Ethernet operating principles to real-time motion control, and the principles and practices of pressure measurement and its application to mass, level, flow, and density determinations in industrial process streams. In several instances, English was not the authors’ native language.

Editor of multiple books for O³neida, to include gas turbine power plant instrumentation and networking, and the development of an execution environment for automation systems that supports dynamic reconfiguration.

Editor, writer, or rewriter (as required) of a large group of instructor-led training courses for Piedmont Natural Gas, a regional energy supplier.

Substantive and copy editor of curriculum course materials for the North Carolina Certified Manufacturing Specialist certification program in Plastics, a project of the NC Community College System. Topics included General Knowledge, Plastic Materials, Extrusion, Blow Molding, Injection Molding, and Thermoforming.

Writer of a comprehensive illustrated training manual, leader guide, and companion PowerPoint® presentation for a 100-hour course in tire manufacturing for Bridgestone Firestone.

Editor of an extensive revision and update of the National Property Management Association's seven-volume Certified Property Professional teaching manuals set. This project included the acquisition of illustrations and the proofreading of the final galleys.

Substantive and copy editor of a 200-page 8½x11 format, softbound text on thermoforming for the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). This book required the merging of four authors’ contributions to create a consistent style.

Scriptwriter and author of student workbooks for SPE’s video-based courses in extrusion blow molding and single and twin screw extrusion.

Writer of marketing materials and newsletter articles for RL Hudson, a full-service designer and distributor of custom rubber and plastic products for OEMs.

Training video scriptwriter and writer of student manuals, practical exercises, and written tests for Martin-Marietta Composites.

Editor and primary author of the Society of the Plastics Industry's (SPI) National Certification in Plastics Study Guides.

Developer of PowerPoint presentations for two 16-hour and two 28-hour seminars in plastics processing and materials for the Polymers Center of Excellence (PCE).

Writer and instructor for a series of customized, in-plant training courses in the extrusion of plastics, and editor and contributing author of the textbook for a 16-hour seminar in thermoplastics extrusion, also for PCE.
